Pakistan gets a shocking defeat from Zimbabwe by one run

Pakistan and their never-ending drama continue as they get a massive blow from Zimbabwe heading into the race of semi-finals on the ongoing t20 World Cup at Perth on   October 27, They endured a shocking defeat from  Zimbabwe by one run in the super 12 encounters and now are in the danger of an early exit from the t20 World   Cup 2022. 

Winning the toss Zimbabwe decided to bat first. Their opener Wesley Madhevere and Craig Ervine gave them a good start. They scored a quick 42 runs in 4 overs. After then they lost Ervine to Haris Rauf and in the very next over Madhevere got out. However, they managed to put in a low total of 130 losing 8 wickets.
Pakistan starts the run chase in a poor way losing their skipper early.
Babar Azam's struggle continued as he went cheaply scoring 4 runs. After his dismissal, Muzarbani comes into action, and he takes the wicket of Mohammad Rizwan on 14. Two huge Powerplay wickets gave Zimbabwe the confidence to put up a tough fight on them defending the low total.
Pakistan was never in the game. As they kept losing wickets from one end without getting any partnerships. 
Shan Masood top-scored with 44 off 38 balls, but Pakistan fell short in the end as they failed to score the three runs required for victory in the last ball of the match.

All-rounder Sikandar Raza was the star bowler, who turned the match by taking 3 crucial wickets in the middle overs giving away 25 runs from his quota of four overs. In his important spell, he took the wickets of Shan Masood (44), Shahdab Khan (17), and Haider Ali. While Brad Evans also shared two wickets for 25 runs.
Sikandar Raza won the Man of the match.
