Bangladesh won by 3 runs against Zimbabwe

After losing to South Africa by a huge margin, Bangladesh takes on Zimbabwe at the Gabba in Brisbane.

So far, team Bangladesh we're not seen up to the mark in this World Cup, in their previous match they got badly trashed by South Africa by a big margin of 104-runs.

Winning the toss Bangladesh skipper Shakib Al Hasan elected to bat first. A brilliant 71 runs off 55 balls by the opener Najmul Hossain Shanto helped the tigers put in a competitive total of 150 runs losing 7 wickets.

Chasing a decent target of 151 runs Zimbabwe got off to a bad start losing their top orders early in the powerplay. Their star all-rounder Sikander Raza also failed to open his account and went back for a duck.
The veteran Zimbabwe batter Williams fought till the last with Ryan Burl but unfortunately, he got run out by Shakib Al Hasan.
A brilliant game of cricket has been displayed by both teams. Bangladesh hold their nerves till the last moment of the game and won the match by 3 runs in the final over of t20 World Cup. The final over was so dramatic that they got a wicket on the second ball followed by a boundary and a six on the very next ball.
For Bangladesh Taskin Ahmed was the star bowler. He took three crucial wickets at a very important time which helped his team to regain some confidence back and put up a tough fight on the field. Mosaddek Hossain and Mustafizur Rahman shared two wickets each
Richard Ngarava and Blessing Muzarabani bagged two-wicket hauls for Zimbabwe.
