Australia has beaten Ireland by 42 runs in Brisbane. With this win, they keep them alive in the semifinal race.   After being put into bat by the Irish captain Balbirnie , Kangaroos made 179 runs losing 5 wickets , with skipper Aaron Finch leading the way, scoring 63 off 44 balls. His innings included five fours and three sixes . For Ireland Barry McCarthy took three wickets and Joshua Little picked two . Chasing the target of 179 runs , They put on an opening stand of 18 runs within just two overs but the Australian bowlers made a quick comeback and destroyed Ireland's top and middle order completely. Andrew Balbirnie, Paul Stirling, Harry Tector, Curtis Campher, and George Dockrell , all fell quick inside the opening four overs of the bowling powerplay. South Africa defeated India by five wickets in the Super 12 stage in Perth on Sunday, October 30. Pakistan’s chances to reach the semi-final went in vain as India lost to South Africa in the super 12 stages.   Winning the toss skipper Rohit Sharma decided to bat first. They got off to a horrible start losing half of their side in just 49 runs in 8.3 overs . Their top orders went early without scoring many runs. The South African pacer Lungi Ngidi was the main wicket-taker who destroyed the Indian top-order taking 4 big wickets during an important spell of four overs bowling on a pacy track. After losing to South Africa by a huge margin, Bangladesh takes on Zimbabwe at the Gabba in Brisbane. So far, team Bangladesh we're not seen up to the mark in this World Cup, in their previous match they got badly trashed by South Africa by a big margin of 104-runs. Winning the toss Bangladesh skipper Shakib Al Hasan elected to bat first. Pakistan and their never-ending drama continue as they get a massive blow from Zimbabwe heading into the race of semi-finals on the ongoing t20 World Cup at Perth on   October 27, They endured a shocking defeat from  Zimbabwe by one run in the super 12 encounters and now are in the danger of an early exit from the t20 World   Cup 2022.  Winning the toss Zimbabwe  decided to bat first.  After beating Pakistan in a thrilling match on Sunday, October 23. India takes on the Netherlands today.  Winning the toss Indian skipper Rohit Sharma elected to bat against the Netherlands in their T20 World Cup match at the SCG . India lost KL Rahul in the third over of the innings, then Kohli comes in and joins the skipper from the other side. Rohit anchored the innings from there and he scored a quick fifty . Joining the party Kohli scored his second consecutive half century of this tournament. This ongoing t20 World Cup is giving us all the twists and turns. Once again rain played the role of a villain for England and gave Ireland a win through the DLS method on Wednesday, October 26.  England fell 5 runs short of the Irish total in terms of the D/L method which gave Ireland a stunning win over England in their cricket history.  Restricting the Ireland team to a total of 157 runs in 19.2 overs after the firing start. England chasing the score of 158 runs  was on 105 for 5 in 14.3 overs. They were hardly seen getting any kind of momentum going on their way during the run chase.
